Jinja Road: Uganda’s First High-Impact 3D DOOH Landmark
3D DOOH LANDMARK
The Anamorphic
Revolution
Jinja Road — Kampala
Uganda’s first high-impact 3D Digital Out-of-Home landmark, transforming Jinja Road into an immersive forced-perspective advertising experience designed to stop traffic and dominate attention.
The Objective
Jinja Road is one of Kampala’s busiest and most visually competitive transit corridors. Traditional digital screens often become part of the background noise.
Our mission was to move beyond ordinary digital advertising by introducing a next-generation 3D DOOH experience capable of commanding the environment and creating unforgettable visual impact.
The goal was to provide brands like Club Beer and AAR Insurance with immersive “forced perspective” storytelling that captures attention instantly and drives viral engagement.
Mastering Anamorphosis
01
Perspective Mapping
We identified the optimal “Golden Viewing Angle” where the 3D illusion becomes most realistic for commuters and pedestrians.
02
Content Engineering
Motion designers created shadow-box environments and frame-breaking animations that trick the brain into perceiving true spatial depth.
03
Light Calibration
Brightness, contrast, and LED color balance
were optimized to preserve depth realism
throughout both daytime and nighttime conditions.
Club Beer — The Floating Bottle
The Strategy
Create a high-energy lifestyle experience that transforms the product into part of the street atmosphere.
The Execution
The Club Beer bottle was animated to rotate
and tilt outward from the screen, creating a striking floating illusion.
The Result
The execution generated strong roadside attention and created an immersive experience impossible to ignore within the urban environment.
AAR Insurance — 30 Years Of Control
Trust Through Depth
The anamorphic execution emphasized stability, longevity, and corporate prestige.
Layered Perspective
Foreground and background depth layering
created a monumental visual experience
celebrating the 30-year milestone.
Premium Digital Presence
The result elevated AAR’s identity into a modern high-tech brand experience.
The Impact
01
Skyline Redefined
The Jinja Road installation transformed Kampala’s visual landscape with immersive DOOH technology.
02
Social Media Virality
The 3D visuals encouraged commuters to film and share the experience online organically.
03
High Dwell Time
Traffic congestion became an advertising advantage, increasing audience exposure duration significantly.
Our Advantage
With the Jinja Road 3D Screen, Vacker established itself among the few companies in East Africa capable of delivering
true anamorphic billboard experiences.
By combining advanced perspective engineering, strategic placement, and cinematic motion design, we transformed ordinary digital screens into immersive urban landmarks.
